The Final Conference will be jointly organized by the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) and the GHG-TransPoRD project. The EESC will host the conference in their premises in Brussels on November 29th 2011.
The purpose of the Final Conference is to present both the project results and the steps to achieve them in a comprehensive manner. The Conference will thus commence with a project overview and the analysis of R&D activities and the innovation system in the transport sector. Second the portfolio of potential GHG reduction measures for all modes will be explained. Finally the GHG reduction scenarios consisting of bundles of measures will be presented and discussed.

Workshop 4 "Techno-economic analysis of scenarios and policy packages to achieve GHG reductions of transport" will be structured into one and a half days with different focus. On the first half day we will present the modelling approach to assess scenarios and GHG reduction measures. This will provide insights how the applied models function and thus how the scenarios were produced and estimated.On the second day we will present the draft GHG reduction scenarios defined by GHGTransPoRD with a time horizon until 2050.

29.06.2010  The GHG-TransPoRD project participated in the REACT workshop in Rijeka continuing the clustering activities with other European projects.
18.06.2010 Continuing the cooperation with the International Energy Agency (IEA) the GHG-TransPoRD project co-organized its 2nd workshop in Paris on GHG reduction
potentials in air and maritime transport and the role of RD&D (Workshop 2)
17.06.2010  Together with the International Energy Agency (IEA) the GHG-TransPoRD project co-organized its 1st workshop in Paris on GHG reduction potentials in road and rail transport and the role of RD&D (Workshop 1)
16.02.2010  The GHG-TransPoRD project participated in the cluster meeting in Brussels to coordinate activities of the transport climate mitigation projects of FP7.
22.10.2010 The kick-off meeting of GHG-TransPoRD was organized in Brussels in the permanent representation of the German Lander of Baden-Württemberg at the EU.
17.09.2010 The GHG-TransPoRD project approach was presented at the TOSCA conference in Cambridge as part of the cluster activities of the transport climate mitigation projects of FP7.
